Voters
Washington,
D.C: Tim
Sultan (AZ-28) has become the second
political candidate in Arizona to
join with the National Political Do Not Contact
Registry and take the "Do
Not Robocall" pledge. This
means that voters from AZ-28
should expect their phones to be quiet - at
least from robocalls from Tim
Sultan. The first Arizona politician to
take the do not robocall pledge
was US Senate candidate, John
Dougherty.
"Doing robocalls doesn't
help me become a
better legislator, it just annoys voters.
But when I walk over to my
neighbor's house and have a conversation, I
learn about their interests and
what they want to see in a good, thoughtful
representative.", stated Tim
Sultan.
"I commend Mr. Sultan on
honoring the wishes
of the voters of AZ and agreeing not to
Robocall voters in Arizona District 28.
" stated Shaun Dakin, CEO and Founder of
StopPoliticalCalls.org.
The National Political
Do Not Contact Registry is
the nation's only non-profit non-partisan
Political Do Not Call Registry with
over 150,000 registered
voters. They have over 6,000
voters
in the State of Arizona who are on their
registry. The NPDNC Registry
believes that voters should be given the
privacy right to opt out of political
robocalls.
