Free.  With The National Political Do Not Call Registry Charter Membership, you'll be able to register one phone number with the National Political Do Not Contact Registry and receive Citizens for Civil Discourse's (CCD) member newsletter where you can learn about which candidates are participating in elevating the political discourse in our great nation.

However, you can protect all your phone numbers, your email addresses and street address with our Charter Founder Membership ($1.24).  You can even choose which politicians you would like to hear from, what issues you care about the most, and how you would like to hear from candidates (email, phone, or mail).  This membership is only $1.24 for an entire year.  That is about a dime (.10) a month that goes to help offset our expenses.

YES -   Voter 1 - Mary Smith; Voter 2 - Jim Smith
Each voter in the household becomes an individual member of CCD

NO -  Voter 1 & 2 - Mary and Jim Smith
Both Mary and Jim become a single member of CCD

Why?:  Because voter databases consider each individual voter in a household separately as each voter votes as an individual, not as a married couple.   Remember, campaigns will attempt to call each INDIVIDUAL voter at a residence.

Why Must I Register To Remove My Number From Political Phone Lists?

It is critical that we prevent fraud.   Since we are a non-profit and the registry does not have the force of law, it is critical that our database be secure, accurate and free from manipulation.   To prevent fraud and abuse we require voters to validate that they are who they say they are by registering and activating your account.   In addition, by registering and becoming a member you can return at anytime to update your contact information if you move.

I am giving serious consideration to purposely not vote or vote against anyone who is rude enough to disrupt my home privacy.....PARTICULARLY THOSE PRE-RECORDED MESSAGES THAT LEAVE NO NUMBER FOR RESPONSE.
